Haley's concert

Tonight Haley had a choir concert at school. They did a great job. I was so impressed that the majority of the songs that were sung had a Christian theme. It was wonderful to hear Christian songs sung at a Jr. High School.

Today we found our desert tortoise dead in our back yard. He was pretty old, (not sure how old). It was a very sad day! Everyone was in tears...

Cory's Haircut... FINALLY!

My niece Lori came over to cut my hair and so Cory got a cut also. He looks good, he is so handsome!

Lori did her cosmo in high school and just graduated from Pima college as an xray tech. She plans to go on to Gateway to become and Ultrasound tech. Yeah Lori! Way to go!

Our Garden Project

This weekend we also started a garden project. Jeff put together two garden boxes and Lexie and Haley helped work on the soil and planting the seeds. We've tried to plant a garden lots of times sometimes we are successful and other times not so much. We're hopeful this will be a success!

Hayden

Hayden is our 3rd grand child. He came over for a overnighter. The kids love Hayden and he had fun with them. They play and wrestle to much for grandma, but they have a good time! We love Hayden and are glad he came got to spend some one on one with us!

Once again bored

Once again im super bored so for the past like 2-3 hours i've been on facebook looking at pieces of flair. Im pretty pathetic. I don't even know how i've sent to people in the past 3 hours. Im starting to think im obsessed with flair and i need a new hobby cause soon there's not gonna be a piece of flair that i haven't seen. And it's really stupid becuase you can only have like 56 pieces of flair on yuour board at a time which makes me really mad. well i guess im gonna go back to facebook so talk to ya later.

B-O-R-E-D

Im so bored so i thought i'd add to the blog. Today we planted a garden and i think we did a pretty good job if i do say so my self and then later i have to go help at the Back to School Bash at shepherd pool so that should be fun even though i'll just be selling stuff the whole time. So i guess i dont have much to say so.....bye! :)

Dying without my phone

So its been 5 days since i got my phone taken away and pretty much about to die without it. It may seem like i have a problem but i don't. I just talk to my friends a lot cause i never see them. Its how i stay in touch with them. But i guess thats all i can say for now.....9 more days..... :(

Today was constitution day at school Cory was a part of the flag ceremony this morning. He looked good in his scout uniform, other than he needs a hair cut!

Spirit Week

A sad day in the Smith home

(at least for the oldest)

Lexie got her cell phone taken away 5 days ago. She is missing it terribly... She had 4110 text message in ONE month and Jeff and I thought that was a little excessive. So she has been going through withdrawls... and is counting the days till she gets it back. :)

Fun in California

When are good friends and neighbors two houses down moved to Ca. We had to go visit as soon as we could. (two weeks later) Of course we had to take Tayla and Madyson, Luke is one of their best friends.

Here we are in California, at the beach and at the Newport Temple.

We had a really good time, and are anixous to make another trip in November.

We love the Sibleys! And miss them a ton!
