Kiddie Kamp

We have 16 kids in our house (including mine) today... :) Chloe and her friend Megan are having kiddie kamp which today has had the best turnout. They are having a good time and it is actually quite quiet here at the moment.. Her and Megan are learning how to get more kids and they'll figure it out. I'm glad they are doing this this summer and earning some extra money. They've done it for a couple of weeks now. Lexie and Kim are the ones who have done it in the past but this year they turned it over to Chloe and Megan (who were very excited about the prospect of earning money, they are young and not burned out on little kids yet) I'm posting this cause I don't want to work on a big project I've been working on for weeks now... but I guess I better get after it. :) I think they are going to do it again next week so send your kids over... :)

Girls! Girls! Girls!

So after our weekend in Show Low we brought our favorite phx. girls home with us. My brother Brents girls. We love them and have them as much as we can. So here are all MY girls in the pool... Adriana, Jade, Lex, Haley, and Kim (our neighbor and Lexie's BFF and our extra daughter)...

Service Weekend

So this past weekend we all went up to my parents house in Show Low to help do some much needed work around their house. We painted the deck and did some painting around the house getting ready for siding. It was a lot of work but good to get some things done. There is so much more that needs to be done. My mom recently cut her leg (12 stitches) so she needs to stay off her feet, which she isn't very good at doing. But it was good to visit and do some work. My parents are in their 80's and I need to get up there more.

Harry Potter!

Ok so for the last three days the girls have been having Harry Potter marathons to get ready for tonight the big preimier... 3 days of 12 plus hours of Harry Potter movies... And today they had to paint their shirts, fix their hair, last night they bought wands from a friend... And then they went to stand in line at 5:30 for the midnight showing... I hope it's worth all the hype... AND I wish I was there... :) Love Harry Potter, I'm sad it's over... But alas, all good things come to an end...

Fun with my Niece's daughters...

Today my Niece came over. She just had baby number 5 a little boy. She has 5 kids 5 and under... Her oldest is Addie 5, Twins that are 3, and 2 year old Gracie, and her little guy , Chaser, 4 weeks old. Anyway.. here are the twins , Bailey and Elle in the pool with Chloe. Chloe was so great with them, really working with them. None of them know how to swim, Chloe did a great job! Fun Day!

Lexie's Pictures

So Lexie had senior pictures for the yearbook today, I don't know they take them a year from the time they actually graduate... But we went, of course we only got the yearbook picture cause I don't want to pay an arm and a leg for a package, when we'll get Kristen Hansen to take them next year, or we'll take them. So after they took her pictures we went outside the place and took some more. They chased us off cause that's where they take pictures too. I was feeling a little ghetto, (to quote Kirsten)... But it was fun to take some of Lexie, can't believe she is a Senior.... She is such a beautiful girl!

Lights Out!

Last thursday our electricity went out. There was a transforming fire and we were out of electricity for about 10 hours. It was so crazy. We have a generator so that helped with the fridge and we had a couple of fans going. But here are some pictures of Jeff and Cory in the pool at 11 pm and Chloe finally feel asleep about that time. so here is her sleeping while the rest of us were out side reading or swiming. It was cooler outside then it was in our house.
