This has been a hard spring to say the least. My dad had two major strokes on April 14. He couldn't speak or swallow and the left side of his body was paralyzed. My mom decided that she would not put a feeding tube in and we brought him home and with the help of Hospice took care of him. Me, and my sister Sue and my sister in Law Shirley took around the clock duty, my mom and brothers and sister Gina also helped, but since I was staying there I was able to help a lot, and I am so grateful I was able to serve him in that way, It was a very sweet time for all of us, and it was so sweet that he was in his own home. He held our hands and I will always cherish the time I spent with him. I am so grateful that I could go and spend that time in Show Low with my mom and be with my dad. He passed away on April 24 in the morning. We had the service on May 4. I was able to spend all that time in Show Low with my mom and it was really good time. Very sweet, and I am very grateful for that time. I will always be grateful for my sweet dad and the things he taught me.

The little kids had their tumbling recital. Tayla, Tanner and Hayden. They did a great job.
Hayden turned 8 this Feb. and we are still planning a baptism. We scheduled it and then everything happened with my dad so we postponed it. Hopefully we can do it in Aug and Cory can baptize him.
Madyson got an award for being a top writer in her class. She writes great stories.
Father's and Sons...
Crazy Hair day at school...
Hayden got 2 nd place in his 2nd grade Battle of the books. yay!
Haley's last concert...
The twins took part in the Invention Convention... Yay... Madyson's invention was a picture bouncer, in case you slam your door and the picture comes off the wall it will bounce and won't break. Very important for those who tend to slam doors... :) (and no that doesn't happen at our house..
Tayla came up with a book helper, which has a light and turns your pages so you can read a "real" book and enjoy it. :)
Girls Camp 2013... Was great. and Chloe had a good time. Haley came down with pneumonia and couldn't go. The theme was "Remember who you are.." and we did some great activities. I'm so grateful to be in the Stake YW. I love the ladies I work with and it's so great to be a part of such great activities..
