So a few things have happened in the last couple of months. First, of course, Darin had a birthday... Yay he's 25... wow so we have to document all of his visits with pictures, since we don't see him every much. He does stay busy working and is looking into going to school, which is a good thing.
My nephew got married the first of Aug. She is a darling girl and they were so cute. Chase is the youngest of my oldest sister and he is certainly a unique young man, with so many great qualities. He has such a big heart. We ADORE him to say the least. Jeff and I took a lot of the photos and I created their wedding invitation, which I do like to do.
Actually before that we had our stake youth conf. We went to Safford and did a missionary themed event. The youth were put into championships and had teaching opportunities. We had a really supper service project. A couple in Thatcher were in a horrible accident while they were on a mission in Washington/Oregon. A logging truck lost control and a few logs hit their car. It's a miracle they survived, and he is still having problems, but is such a great guy. It was really a good service, we worked on their ranch and we had about 150 youth. We did about a years worth of work for them in 2 hours. Such a great experience. After the service project the youth got to play in a mud pit. I watched from the car... Not a fan of mud.. But they had a great time, and I'm so grateful for the experiences we had

Shortly after youth conf. I was released as a member of the Stake Young Women's Presidency. I was very sad, I have so enjoyed working with these great women. They have strengthened my testimony of my Savior and it has been such a joy to serve with them.
I was given a new calling as the Young Women President in my ward... A calling I am excited about and grateful for the opportunity to serve the young women in our ward. I LOVE the youth in this area. It is such a blessing to associate with them. So while I will miss the association of the stake, I will love working and rubbing shoulders with the wonderful women I will be working with.
