April Showers, Easter, Birthdays, May Field trips, graduations and schools out!

The last couple of months have been busy.  As the end of the school year often is a busy time of year.  First we had a wonderful Easter!  We had everyone over on the sat. before to color eggs and then we hide them and they had a fun Easter egg hunt.  Easter is my favorite holiday and I don't want to take away from the holiday by having the egg hunt on Sunday.  The kids always love to color eggs, and make a mess. :)  We had the kids step sister Khloe join us for the festivities.  I'm glad we can just all be a family no matter how it all comes together.  In todays world it's so hard for kids to have so many parents and step parents.  I just want to be a family!

It's hard to get everyone to smile... (Reese)

Below Chloe did a photo shoot with Madyson.  If I had a penny for every photo shoot Chloe did.....

Haley cut her hair this past month also... It was a BIG decision for her, and she talked about doing it for a few months.  Haley is beautiful and can wear her hair anyway she likes... But she tells me how she has BAD memories of being little and how I always cut their hair short...

Lexie turned 21 this April! She wanted to have a BBQ with some of her friends.  It was a good day!  Can't believe she is 21... YIKES....

Cory's last concert of the year!  He's loved being in choir and he likes to perform.  (I know that's a surprise...that any of the kids like to be on stage)

I had a great Mother's Day this year.  Grateful for my kids and all they do for me, and especially for Jeff.  He spoiled me as always, and is such a good husband.  I am very blessed to have found him!

The Twins had a field trip to San Diego at the end of the year.  Kirsten was able to go with them and they had a really great time.  They were able to go whale watching, (and the ocean was really rocky, thus Tayla below) Kirsten said Madyson was a little green on the boat also...  They went to Sea World and to some aquarium.  It was very fortunate that Kristen could go.  They had a great time.

At the end of the year, Tanner was a part of the Battle of the Books buzzer battle.  His team took third but he did a really great job!

The end of the year activities also include water day for the younger grades.   Tanner and Reese had a great time..

The twins also graduated from 6th grade... YIKES!  They are growing right up.  They are beautiful young women and I hope they can continue to make good choices.  They are good girls!  They bring us a lot of joy!

Because I work at the school, I was able to be part of the staff that shook all of the kids hands as they grabbed their certificate.

Reese also graduated from Kindergarten.  Yay!  He has loved her teacher and was so sad and cried the last day of school cause he wouldn't see her anymore.  He is a smart little guy and certainly has his own mind and does what he wants...

He had a big support group there.  Kirsten was in Cali with the twins, but everyone else showed up.  Jim has moved to Utah with his new wife and family,  but happened to be in town this day and we were glad he could make it.

His teacher on the right, Mrs. Rodeffer, and the classroom aide, my good friend Ms Lori.
